The reality is that he probably isn’t ready to be a champion just yet.
hehe the pressure is on Haney Ryan and especially Gervonta to step up now after what Teo just did at 23

    Cant sell potential forever

        My preferences in order:

1)Tank, for sure the best fight vs the most proven top guys at 135, basically 1 vs 2 now that Loma got knocked off

2)Devin, got an 0 & a belt, Devin still gots things to prove but hes got an A+ on his eye test

3)Ramirez or Taylor, would be a super bold move to take out Loma & then move to 140 & attempt to be the man there, it's rare when someone becomes #1 in back to back divisions, but idk that anyone has been #1 in back to back divisions in back to back fights, assuming it's been awhile if it went down at all

4)Loma, still has name value despite the L & it does seem that there is a strong segment of boxing fans who wanna run it back cuz of how Loma came on in the later rounds

5)King Ry, this Luke fight could make him a more attractive opponent, but I think you still wanna take it a lil slow with getting Ry in with the #1 guy, I'd rather see him get one more quality W assuming he does beat Luke, from Teo's point of view I could see how it could be seen as the boxing equal of taking candy from a baby

6)Zepeda, I'd love to see Jose get the chance cuz he deserves it maybe more than anyone after that FOTY level fight vs Ivan, but there are just bigger fish I'd like to see fried next, the good part for Zepeda is usually boxing slow burns the bigger fights so Zepeda might be seen as a more appealing option for next

Lopez-Zepeda is a boxing nerd's type of fight. Chon always fights to the level of his competition so it just feels like something that plays out amazingly in my head.

Teofimo beats the dog**** out of Tank. Tank is older than the whole next crop of lightweights but I doubt he'd take that fight.

                  Lomachenko.

Lopez won the fight, but every champion deserves a rematch.

No they don't. Cats get beat by first round KO or 11-1 all the time. No one wants to watch that again & they don't deserve a do over. Controversial outcomes I get, clear wins don't deserve rematches unless you earn a new shot at some future date over other opponents.

Also once a guy beats the champ isn't he now the champ & when he loses wouldn't he deserve a rematch/trilogy fight if he lost the initial rematch? So basically you'd have to beat every champ twice to reallllllly be the champ & move forward if things operated like that. That's nuts brother.
