Should champion boxers have to pay for their belts?

ATP and WTA tennis players do not have to pay for their tournament trophy wins.

So why does every known boxing sanctioning body from wbc to ibf charge boxers for their belts after they win the title?

Should this be changed immediately?

We should care as fans of the sport since we been complaining about how belts an champions arw each division. We as fans or even the casual fan seem to forget any belt on the line in any fight increases their purse for the fight, so of course the fighter an there team are gonna take that almost every time. In my eyes i would like to see all these sanctioning bodies be vanished an jus have one belt an one champion recognized in each division, im surprised they jus don't have the championship fights with only the ring magazine belt on the line. I bet u ask any casual fan what boxing belt they recognize an they would almost always say either that WBC green belt or that ring magazine belt people recognize from the rocky movies or any other boxing movie

i guess people have always wanted a cut from boxer's, i've heard boxers called the most exploited athletes in the past, maybe they need a strong union
