LAS VEGAS Keith Connolly isn't concerned about applying pressure on Edgar Berlanga that the young knockout artist cannot handle. The hard-hitting super middleweight welcomes comparisons to Puerto Rican icons. The 23-year-old Berlanga wants nothing more than to become the next wildly popular Puerto Rican fighter to pack Madison Square Garden.

“The plan is December, and then probably in March,” Connolly said. “And then the big one, the day before the Puerto Rican Day Parade [in June]. We already have it lined up with Madison Square Garden. We have the Theater on hold, if we can get fans by then. And depending on how things go, you never know, the Garden wants it in the big arena if there’s not a professional sports team in there that night. So, we’ll see how it goes.”

NYC Stand Up! Brooklyn, you did it again!

Looks like the real deal...too bad it looks like He will be stuck between the so called “glamour” divisions of welterweight/Middleweight and Heavyweight. Will probably b a LHW as He matures.

true. i was hoping he could get to 160 and then that would be huge. However he will probably grow to 175. He still looks a little fleshy to me at 169. I wonder if he really could get down to 160. Remember Shawn Porter was a middleweight hwn he first started.

He is big and strong, he reminds me more of Munguia. Good power but kind of slow and sluggish.

not really slow just i think he needs to work on quickness and straighter punches. He kind of loops punches sometimes.

So far so good. I'm worried what happens when they take him off the pablum. What happens when the other guy doesn't read the script. We haven't seen him go rounds yet, maybe we never will, but I need to see more.

Tito wasn't complete. Tito had a very weak chin that would betray him at times.
