I'd take Baldomir. I don't think Mayorga could hurt him, and Mayorga would probably get caught with something.
Carlos Baldomir vs. Ricardo Mayorga at 147: Who would have won?

Mayorgas power is overrated. He couldnt floor Tito who has a very shaky chin and despite getting TKO'd by Trinidad he did manage to land his share of punches. He coudnt drop Spinks, Piccarillo , Mitchell and DLH. His KO over Forrest wasnt even that spectacular. Forrest was more frightened if anything. Everyone else he KO'd with the exception of maybe Six Heads Lewis were bums.
Baldomir wont be intimidated. He might lose some rounds but I wouldnt be surprised if he stops Mayorga. Mayorgas chin isnt the same after Tito. Tito ruins everyone.Comment

Mayorga is just plainly overrated. He has taken too many substances and weight drained himself just to make fights and has never had the boxing heart the truly train and be fully prepared for any fight.
Baldomir trains hard and rough and has a true committment to boxing. His heart is bigger and his endurance is as well. Just on these facts alone you know Mayorga would be knocked out without much of a fight.Comment

Who the **** cares about *****-ass Mayorga. Now THAT guy is bad or the sport.
I love that he gets his ass handed to him in every big-name fight. The De La Hoya fight was amazing to me. ****a Mayorga.Comment
