the ref didnt do his job properly, i was hoping to tune into a boxing match not mma
Horn uses illegal tactics = outrage. Chino and Lopez do it, get cheered. Seems legit

The video I shared called every situation where Lopez used at least one dirty tactic.
Loma's ONLY one was in response to Lopez where he hit off the break after Lopez hit him off the break. Other than that, Lopez was on it:
- Strong arm/elbow
- Palm strike
- Heisman straightarm
- Elbow to keep range
- Shoulder blocks
- Shoulder tackles
- Ducking beneath the belt line
- Hitting off the break
- Throwing elbow like a punch (shades of Otto 'All In' Wallin)
- Elbow to the side of the head in the trench
That's just in Round 12 where it was shown that Lopez did not decisively win. It was a tossup when you watch it slowed down.
Everything he was doing basically showed that Lopez doesn't like inside fighting. At all. And he's willing to do anything he can to get the guy away from him.
That's why it would be a dream fight to see him try and deal with Chino, who not only will force himself inside but get just as dirty to stay there. Loma was just being nice about it and it cost him.
But I see nobody angry. I was the first - and so far only - one to call out Lopez's dirty fighting.
And as far as the headbutt the video clearly shows that it wasn't intentional, Lopez was moving forward trying to push off and they clashed heads. That happens when you're (illegally) pushing off like that and don't know where the guy's head is.Comment

Maybe because Horn was perceived as a robbery (i also thought pac won clearly), and Lopez won clearly, in most people’s eyes, save for a few who can’t get over the fact that Lopez won. Maybe he was a bit dirty, but it wasn’t anything game changing. Again, to most observers. It doesn’t change the fact that Loma refused to engaged the first 7 rounds. The video I shared called every situation where Lopez used at least one dirty tactic.

Ok but perception of who won what shouldn't be an excuse for why Fighter A is okay being dirty but Fighter B isn't.Maybe because Horn was perceived as a robbery (i also thought pac won clearly), and Lopez won clearly, in most people’s eyes, save for a few who can’t get over the fact that Lopez won. Dirty is dirty.
And the thing is, Chino was just as dirty with Floyd and they claimed he got robbed.
It's inconsistent.Comment
