  • Comments Thread For: Regis Prograis: Before I Go To 147 - I Have To Be Champion at 140 Again

By Thomas Gerbasi - In other words, Prograis hasn't gotten soft heading into a fight many see as a comeback showcase following the first loss of his career to Josh Taylor a year ago. In fact, some would say he's got the proverbial "Eye of the Tiger" back after he decided to move back to Houston after a stint in Los Angeles. The move wasn't a knock on the City of Angels, but yeah...

Prograis -Mikey at 147 would be nice.

After Jose Ramirez squashes the 'Tart-Tomato' Josh Taylor, the belts will be left for Regis Pro and Teofimo Lopez, then they can unify in a mega blockbuster showdown.

He must plan on staying a little while? The Ramirez vs. Taylor winner must face the WBO mandatory next! Basically he won't be in a title fight until this time next year! In the meantime, can I get Prograis vs. Ergashev? Pretty please?

Arum will keep Prograis far, far away from Ramirez, Lopez and Taylor. There is money to be made and Regis Prograis has the ability to derail that money train.

Rougarou is a bad, bad man.

Bob Arum will never let Prograis near Taylor, Ramirez or Lopez.

If any of them stand in exchanges they'll get knocked out by Prograis. I'm not saying Regis is invincible but he does an incredible amount of damage for all 12 rounds, "Rougarou" is without question the right name for him.

I give the best chance to Josh Taylor because of his height and style. That said Josh barley beat a distracted Regis and I'm not certain he wins a rematch, especially if that rematch is in the US.
