In the last months we've seen Benavidez ranked at 175 to 168 in the WBC. They also YET AGAIN tried to impose and exploit their brand with attaching themselves to Canelo at 168, saying that their team ''petitioned'' to fight Yildirim. For all we know Canelo (unknowingly) was simply added to the list as a perk and they coined it as ''petitioned.''
Sulaiman simply presents or offers something and then makes headlines that the party is following it. Take for example Sulaiman saying that Lomachenko ''asked'' for the Franchise which creates su****ion with Arum. I think the WBC seizes the opportunity to create underground rules and favoritism before even asking the parties... why would the parties refuse such perks? It's not the parties' fault, but moreso the unfairness to other contenders.
