No rematch. Fight wasn't competitive, as the respected Judge Julie Lederman had it.
    What a bozo

Lopez was the better man, but Lomachenko had
already proven his skill and class.

If you want to dislike/disregard him, that's your own issue,
but it's completely ridiculous to say he was "exposed".

      Stop using clichés.
Next you'll probably say "you don't know **** about boxing".
That's another over-used phrase used by casual sheep.

I've never like Lomachenko, just based on his arrogant
personality, but to say he was "exposed" is foolish.

      Lomachenko was not exposed.
      Lopez just proved his greatness.
He got exposed and now he's making excuses. Now he's being exposed as a sore loser.

A "generational talent" that couldn't beat a green 23 year old making his first title defense.

Ran from him half the fight and backed off every time they engaged.

Loma's flaws have been evident for a long time and all it took was a little bit of athleticism to expose them.

He was far from exposed. He has an insane resume for a guy with 14 fights.

Way before this fight, they said he wasn't a legit 135-pounder and was likely moving down, even in victory over Lopez.

At 32, with 400 amateur fights, tough fights from the moment he started his career, coming off more than a year of inactivity, he could be aged, he could be undersized - but at the end of the day the better man in Lopez won.

I wouldn't call Lopez green either. He's a former Olympian, he beat solid contenders, some with brutal knockouts, and blew away Richard Commey in two rounds for a world title.. with Commey barely being hurt by other fighters.

"Loma's flaws have been evident for a long time"? lol
If you are a hater, yeah, you'll always look at the glass
as half full. Fortunately, the experts don't do that.
Trust me, I don't like him either, but it's foolish to deny
his talent. Calling Teofimo a "green 23 year old" just to
further your biased opinion of Lomachernko is an insult
and dis-service to Teofemo. Lopez proved himself to be
a great fighter by beating a great fighter. It was not a
case of a "green 23 year old" beating an over-hyped
champion. Lomachenko had already proven his worth,
and now Lopez has proven himself by beating him.
Your assessment is an insult to both of them!
They both deserve an appology from you. Immediately.

Why was there not a rematch clause in the contract?

Was it arrogance on Loma's part?

I'm gonna sue Loma for $50 CAD. I hope I can afford a lawyer
