Lomachenko should probably retire.

    Lomachenko should probably retire.

A year off to rest the previously repaired shoulder and he hurt it in training camp. He'd hurt it previously in the tough fight he had with Linares. It was fine for the Campbell fight. Then injured it in camp against Teofimo and had to have surgery again although this surgery wasn't as extensive as the first surgery.

Retire after his first loss in years that was a highly competitive fight where he didn’t take tons of punishment

    Nah

He should fight at least one more time to see where he at

He needs to get that shoulder figured out for sure. Doesn't seem like the first surgery did much of anything. Maybe needs to adapt what he is doing training wise too

I don't see him coming back from this shaming, considering all the died hype. By then also the geography at 130 and 135 would be different. If he comes back after the shoulder heals (if the claim is true), I think he'll go on a little bumfest before fighting a live opponent again.

I'm sure Hearn would have Crolla and Campbell ready to go.

Did I say anything about him losing? I said the shoulder. He's had over a year to rest it and it still gave him trouble.

This could be a solution but his father isn't going to change what he's been doing all his life. They have a tight circle of people they work with.

Could have been inactivity that caused it too though. I’ve got an old recurring elbow injury that got really bad during the lockdown just because it wasn’t being used.

Then again, he barely used that arm against Pedrazza after the surgery, so who knows? Maybe he really damaged it by fighting through it?

The article said it was injured when he arrived in the US six weeks prior to the fight it was giving him problems but they got him to the point where he could train. He took a shot before the fight. I'm sure he injured it worse some time during the fight and then it required surgery. But this surgery isn't as extensive as the first

Another one who didn't read anything I posted and I intentionally kept it short because I know most of you don't read long posts.
