I actually just watched Barrera vs Hamed again recently. Hamed was befuddled...it was funny watching his confidence diminish as the rounds went on. His tiny little head was bouncing around all over the place.
If you watch Barrera-Hamed and Loma-Lopez side by side, the latter fight doesn't have the intensity and the level of skill the former fight had.
Barrera vs Hamed was just 2-3 levels in skill compared to Loma vs Lopez. What's really noticeable is the lack of output from Loma-Lopez. Barrera/Hamed will just drown them.

....there was no output because Loma was keeping himself just out of range, trying to find an angle/position to throw something, knowing that if he did in the positions he found himself...he would be wide open possibly for a huge shot from Teo.
How do people who watch boxing not understand this or even have the thought of it pop into their head

I think you need to watch it again. Those 2 would look tiny next to Lopez...even Lomachenko is the bigger man.
