    Is Lopez's inside game questionble?

I noticed Teo did not like Loma coming in on the inside. Easy to keep pushing Loma away like Khan did Peterson although i don't know why the ref didn't warn Lopez. But even in the clinch Loma was bullying him, kept punching him while Lopez wanted the ref to break it up.

If Lopez cant handle little Loma wonder how he fares with bigger guys in 140/147 who can take his punch and fighters he cant push away.

Yep if he fights taylor or prograis in the inside it could end up bad for him

This why he needs to fight them. It’ll make him a better fighter

Teo’s weakest range is inside. He would uncomfortably look over to the ref whenever Loma got that close

Many guys dunno how to fight inside.

Hell you can be clueless inside like manny and still have a great career

I have already mentioned as I watched the fight. Lopez is going to have to work in that big weakness if he moves up or even faces a sturdy inside fighter at 135.

I think Lopez should have had some points deducted for pushing . Would have been a different fight had Loma work in the inside.

Yes. Him and Regis Prograis both keep their hands low on the inside. Its strange to me.

He's a counter puncher, not a "go-forward" guy... He's good at range and like to keep that range... He had no solution when Loma charged on him and even cried about it a couple times... I remember 2 head clashes happening because his head leaned down on Loma... Still has plenty of time to learn the inside game though..

I posted the thread I talked about - rewatch of Round 12. I think you'll find it very interesting.
