The Fantastic things Lopez in in the ring

People have taken the chance to bash Loma, Loma is a fantastic fighter and doesn't deserve the bashing.

Throughout the fight, Lopez did some fantastic things that have gone unnoticed with everyone saying Loma didn't start until the 8th round.

    The engagement
Loma didn't start because his attempts were shut down. Firstly despite the punch stats to the contrary Lopez didn't miss much early in the fight his punches that didn't land were deliberate he kept Loma engaged by jabbing in from of him and then his gloves and eventually, he'd step in with a very hard body punch
    The Jab
The jab was very authoritative and as mentioned above it kept Loma engaged and stopped him from getting set he'd flick it out just in front of Loma and then he'd touch his gloves and occasionally he'd step in behind and drive it forward with real power to buzz Loma.
    The uppercut
Lopez has a very good uppercut that was used effectively when the smaller man would get inside it was used sparingly but to great effect and made Loma realise that Lopez would be effective at all ranges.
    The footwork
For me, this was the best part of Lopez fight plan he completely nullified Loma footwork by pivoting every time Loma attempted his Angle changes. This is for all intents and purposes Loma's special move and without it, he began to look distinctly average (he isn't) Lopez had superior footwork to Loma in this fight.

    Fantastic and well-executed fight.

Lopez nullified Lomas footwork by being very wide.
Loma had the out side right foot position most of the night but because of Teos width Teo was able to step inside and still touch Loma most times.
    Same with the pivot.
Teo was too wide in his frame for Loma to get around him Loma is used to skinnier guys and that extra width made it hard especially when expecting to be countered with a powerful uppercut or left hook.
Teo was too fast and all he had to do was raise his left arm and block his advances to nullify Lomas pivots.
Loma did counter very well and used his straight left, left hook but too late.
Teo had a great game plan and fought the fight of his life.
    All credit to Teo.

Whenever Loma tried his typical side step movement Lope would always respond with his own pivots etc he never let Loma do what he wanted that’s the thing some folks aren’t noticing is Loma tried to work his angles and look for openings but Lopez didn’t let him hence why a rematch won’t be much different expcept for maybe Lopez stopping him.

I think if Loma tries to apply pressure from round 1, he gets stop.

Very likely he couldn't have just bum-rushed the bigger stronger harder punching man while he's fresh Teo is, without doubt, the bigger puncher.

                For sure bro.
Teo fought the best fight of his life.
After seeing him with Nakatina i thought Loma had this for sure.
All credit to Teo he proved alot of people wrong and alot of people right but that's boxing right.
Teo was very switched on for this fight.
Im a Loma fan but the dude is a beast.

                  Without doubt.
If Teo had if landed in the first 3-4 and landed clean Loma or no-one would be left standing.
Loma was cautious for a reason.
