When wilder did ask for 40% in the past Hearn refused. Timeline definitely matters B Hearn and AJ both said they didn't want the wilder fight... then proceeded to sent lowball offers while everyone else got a percentage. That's more than enough evidence that Hearn didnt want the wilder fight.
So you're saying Fury earns as much as AJ that's why he's getting 50/50? I thought AJ got $85M for the Ruiz II fight smh
AJ signed to fight fury under the same conditions that he refused to sign to fight wilder for the $50M he asked for. That's my point.
That was not a 100 mil fight, Wilders biggest payday was 3 mil and had declining viewership even after the first Fury fight and you lot was busy saying AJ's a nobody in america. Where was this extra 97 mil of interest coming from after Ortiz-Wilder 1?

Also if AJ could earn 85 mil against Ruiz why should he take LESS for Wilder and an undisputed fight?

You're arguments don't add up because you are bias.

DAZN offer is a publicity stunt but 50 mil social media, cancelled meetings offer legit? Okay.

We acting like Joshua didn’t run to Africa like Dave Chapelle after his loss?

Everyone is so concerned and worried about wilder now?

Now folks are begging for him to do media and to say something? For what? What will that do for you?

Man took a licking and got humbled

All he can do now is go back to the drawing board and tend to his family, amidst a pandemic and all

It’s refreshing to see folks go quiet like Lebron would do with his “zero dark thirty” in previous playoff seasons

If wilder was still out about doing press, he would probably just get a bunch of negative comments and questions, so who does it serve now to do media?

He needs to focus on his work, and if he bows out the game, so be it!

In fact I would be interested to see what happens to the division from a marketing standpoint if he bows out, seems like wilder is the only one that made it exciting

This is a global sport of course, but, Will the USA be hyped for an afternoon joshua fury fight in Saudi Arabia? Did Ruiz and Joshua in SA have a big buzz here?

Like it or not, there’s good in having Wilder in the mix

Have some respect and stop whining about his absence

I can only speak for myself, but I for one have no concern or worry for Wilder.

All I want is some direct confirmation on whether he wants to enforce his rematch or not...is this too much to ask? Nobody is demanding a media tour - he can go back into hiding to prepare himself after this for all I care.

Without this confirmation, we have a ridiculous situation where Fury effectively had his hands tied while waiting for an indefinite date, which obviously has implications for the rest of the division, while Wilder’s diehard fans run around spouting delusional nonsense.

Also, your statement about Wilder being the only person making the division exciting is pure nonsense. Wilder was toiling away in obscurity until AJ and Fury came along - tell me what buzz Wilder is able to create without those two in his own country, never mind on a global scale? Even with Fury, the PPV numbers fell below expectations and their promoters still managed to lose money. With Wilder out of the way, we actually have the greatest chance of full unification in years.

And finally this isn’t a question of respect, it’s a matter of Wilder and his management having the decency to be open and transparent with his fans and the general boxing public regarding their intentions.

Fury has established himself as the favourite, but he can’t be crowned king until he beats AJ. I only have to point to Loma’s recent defeat that odds and hypothetical scenarios mean nothing.
FYI, Joshua has never beaten a legit champion, only belt holders.

His best win is still Fury's leftovers.

              LOOOOL

Why does Wilder rattle people so much? Its like people treat him like some drug cheat. I watched AJ talk about some of the protests happening in Nigeria and he was getting bullocked for it. Despite him being as diplomatic as possible. Its kinda sad how we treat certain athletes as if they're scumbags if they dare to speak up or speak out for themselves. I see it even more with the delicious tears being shed by Loma ****riders. Joshua always struck me as another non-white athlete forced to be nice, appeasing and non-threatening.

Just give it a rest with this disrespectful “leftover” nonsense. Did Klitschko come out of that fight any physically different than when he went in? The fight had less action than a schoolboy playground scuffle. And by this token would you agree that Wilder was also just a beltholder, and an unproven one at that given his poor opposition?

Besides, all this is argument about records is just semantics. There’s a reason why an AJ Fury fight is a 50-50 split - they both have claim to equal footing and need to settle it in the ring before one can truly reign supreme.

Wlad got schooled and lost every round against Fury, whereas Joshua went life and death with him and very nearly got KTFO.

Wilder was a 5yr reigning unbeaten WBC champion, tied for title defenses with Ali, you can't compare him to the likes of Charles Martin or Joseph Parker.

I agree that it's a 50/50 fight, however there's a reason why Fury is ranked #1 ahead of Joshua by every boxing publication in the world.
