Can Jaron Ennis and/or Vergil Ortiz Jr Pull Off What Teofimo Lopez Just Did?

Let's assume that Spence is going to be back to form and be the same fighter he was pre-accident. Can either of these two young studs upset Spence or Crawford in 2021? They will say the same thing about these two that they don't have experience or are not ready, but can their natural size and ability get them through here? Who do you give the better chance of upsetting either Spence or Crawford?

Ortiz is the real deal. I’m still on the fence with Ennis.

They would have to go through a heck of a lot more than Teofimo did to win.

Spence and Crawford are not just skilled, they are also skilled savages. They throw with mean intentions and they are prepared to go to that dark place to win.

They ain't gonna be fighting scared to six or seven rounds, they gonna bring the heat from the beginning to the end.

If Virgil or Ennis can't hurt them, then they dont even stand a chance.

I think both are the real deal. But we shall see soon enough when their competition level picks up.

Oh yeah, it's going to take a great performance to beat either Spence/Crawford and they will have to take their fair share of flush shots in the process. But there may be a chance the youngsters are able to hurt these guys. Both Ennis and Ortiz Jr can crack and they have skills themselves.

We probably won't see it, but it would certainly be fascinating.

I give Ennis a good chance if he has a good chin. I think Ennis is better than Ortiz but Ortiz is also very good. I think Spence is a bit better and harder to beat than Crawford, I think Ennis could probably beat Crawford now. I have never seen Ennis's chin tested yet and he would probably have it tested against Spence, If he has a good chin I think he would be an even match for Spence and I would make him a favorite to beat Crawford. I think Ennis is the best of the young welterweights and Ortiz is the next best.

            I like the boldness!

And yeah, we have to see what kind of chin Ennis has...And really what kind of chin Ortiz Jr has. If their chins check out though? Then they are going to be HELL to beat.

I think with Crawford it will be harder for both. Crawford is not as big as Spence so, that may be his weakness. I always thought Vergil could beat Spence. Spence is a good strong basic boxer/puncher who outsized everyone at welter. He cant outsize Ennis or Vergil really. Vergil will work Spence. Ennis is alot like Vernon Forrest or Paul Williams but i think he is a better puncher than them. I still think Crawford beats Spence as well. It wouldnt surprise me to see Pacquaio beat Spence as well.

My guess is no but those two young men certainly look like the real deal.
