I Understand how Loma Had Respect for Lopez' Power......

Like he never faced a powerful fighter in the ams. Plain and simple, Loma did not risk anything against Lopez, except for his belts. If he was afraid of being ko'd than he never should have gotten in to the ring at all. Fighting is taking a risk all by itself. Put up 4 belts and I would have been pressing that fight, regardless if the guy could ko me or not. Loma never even showed up for that fight. Maybe he was there physically, but his mind was on something else. What could have been on his mind to put out such a flimsy showing against Lopez. .........Rockin'

Biggest fight of his pro career, I would have expected him to try to win every round. After six rounds I had it 5-1 Lopez and knew Loma wasn’t going to be able to dig himself out of that hole. I still think he did enough to earn a draw, but he did this to himself. Never leave it to the judges. Especially if you are a Top Rank fighter, who for some reason come out on the wrong end of decisions all too often.

I called this loss. I'm a loma fan as well as a lopez fan. But I didn't think loma could pull it off. If they rematch I'll pick loma. That said it looks like lopez is moving up now.
