I thought it was a close fight. I agree Teo was in the right with the nod towards him. But isn't this supposed to be a good win? I'm not a knathugger but Loma was the old Master getting beat by the young student!

Teo surprised me with his twitchiness and boxing acumen.

Loma had his moments landing those pinpoint shots to the head. He busted the pretty boys face a lil too.

Again why is Loma ain't nothing? Let's give credit where credit is due:

Teo is a stud and the new face of boxing. A good kid with all the respect in the world going to him!

I think he deserves a LOT of credit for winning this fight. Very few thought he would, including myself. But he surprised me. Yet, I though the fight much closer, and that. Bocrec, which I had been praising a few days ago, missed more than a few. For instance, I saw Lomachenko score with at least 4 good punches in rd 2, one was a double hit with the same hand. I actually gave that him that.

I think the scores should have been either draw or 7-5 to Lopez. I wonder if there will be the same fuss about Lederman's card as there was about Adalaide Byrd, and C.J. Ross. There SHOULD be.

I don't know what some say "they are the same size"...Lopez showed far larger in every way.

I personally don't give him much credit. Loma was good, nothing great. Where are all the threads saying the biggest upset? Looks like nobody is even saying it's an upset.

Lopez is good, nothing that special himself. I had Lopez as a B/B- fighter before this fight. Nothing changed. It also shows the ******ity of the P4P crap.

Lopez's road begins now. Loma is done.

          They arent the same size.

One started at 126lbs. The other has difficulty making 135lbs.

Loma has a weird narrow shoulder.

Teo gets all the credit in the world for having only 15 fights and outboxing and out thinking a guy with 397 amateur fights, six world boxing series fights and 16 pro fights.

Loma really wasn't who you all thought he was. A young green guy 150 amateur fights and 15 pro fights, making his first title defense, out boxed him and had him confused in there.

But how do we fix this corruption? I mean any average Joe on the street can score a fight . But why the heck do some get paid to do it? Especially even if they suck! In my opinion what they should do is treat it like jury duty. Call together a bunch of jurors just like in any legal case and let them come together and then the athletic commission can interview all of them and see which three are competent enough to be the judges. It's the only thing I can think of and it's blowing my mind this huge margins on the scorecards. Someone once said to me even if Matrix won the last round and you had it that close that means he would have won the fight from gutting it out but essentially that didn't matter on the scorecard. So what I'm trying to say is even if he won the fight that means he would still have lost if that makes any sense.

The margins come from being in different seats around the fight, the judges all see a different perspective to the same thing, thats why they have 3 judges to try and create an average thats fair, thats the premise , I say they need 5 one on every side and another watching the telecast.

Say Judge A has the back of a fighter to him , Judge B has the back of the other guy, judge C sees the shot land, A seen nothing and B thinks it missed , here is the source of wide varied margins in scoring.

Fans see all angles in replay slow motion a number of times all a very different perspective than ringside.

Does anybody have any clout? Besides knowing bread man, roadblock just answered a tough question. I mean, if they surely created a super cruiserweight division that's wild. But what would be so crazy as in having 5 judges? Moot point.
