Loma/Lopez: Just FYI...NSB was the same way when Joshua got walloped.

And very few people thought he would come back.

Majority of NSB called Joshua an overhyped, overrated, protected bum that needed to retire.

NSB said that Joshua stood zero chance in the rematch against Ruiz.

NSB said that Joshua didn't have enough boxing skills to beat Ruiz.

NSB said that Joshua would never taste championship gold again.

NSB said (before Fury got to Wilder) that Wilder would have killed Joshua in the ring.

NSB called Joshua a hype job that got completely exposed.

...then NSB watched Joshua completely shut out that same Andy Ruiz in the rematch and regain his titles, while Wilder almost died in the ring. Then Wilder got the exact same treatment.

Moral: even the best of fighters not named Floyd Mayweather can go into a fight with a F'd up strategy.

If there's a rematch, that's when we can know for sure what the real deal is.

IF there's no rematch, there should always a question mark of "what if that guy just went in with the wrong game plan".

So...those who say Loma is "finished", I'll challenge you to ask yourselves why you think that given that Loma got 4 rounds (and he DID get 4 rounds) minimum off Lopez, never went down, didn't get knocked out, etc. when Joshua who got completely destroyed came back and went back on the throne?

Why (in your eyes) can Joshua recover and regain, but not Lomachenko?

    Something to think about.

    AJ literally quit.

    Loma lost on the cards.

Poor comparison. Quitters deserve all they get and more, quitting is disgraceful in boxing.

Question is WHAT WAS HAPPENING TO JOSHUA that made him "quit"?

An ass whooping. As in, him getting dropped.

      Which didn't happen to Lomachenko.

      SO, I'll ask it again.

Why can a guy who gets completely destroyed to the point of "quitting" come back and go back to being the same champion yet Loma is apparently "finished"?

AJ came back because Ruiz was an undisciplined tub of lard

Loma wont have the same luck as AJ if they do a rematch.

Because his opponent was a slow plodding obese 30 something who weighed like 15 pounds more the next fight

Lopez is 23 and fast on his feat

Loma's best option is to duck the rematch and go to 130 but everyone will always know that Lopez is his daddy.

joshua was hit and hurt fight 1 v ruiz and it affected the entire fight

loma was hit but not hurt like joshua so he can't avoid the hurtful shot's and do better

he just has to do better overall

joshua could jab and move, loma can jab and move but that won't be as effective as joshua v shortie

I thought Loma won with cleaner punches and blocking most offense from Lopez . Actually stunned Lopez with jabs ,if they rematch I would assume it won’t be hard to score and Loma wins .

NSB is easy to predict fights ,just go against the majority on here bec they don’t really study fights they post on here and read other idiots and follow what’s popular opinion . Lol

Agreed. Loma lost with dignity, he just fell short against the better man on the night.

Whilst AJ got bounced up and down like a basketball, then spat his gum shield out.
