Lopez should go win a belt at 140 then tell Loma he can come get him at that weight.

Loma has only himself to blame for thinking for his thinking that there would be no need for a rematch from his perspective. A) either he was thinking he would just move on if he won a close fight or B) he was thinking he would win by a wide margin. That was not a good mindset and now he has to look into the mirror. As to a rematch if it happens, which it might if the price is right for Lopez, this is one of those fights where even though he came on strong, it doesn't guarantee that starting early will help. That can also backfire if a fighter moves into range quicker.Comment

Bob Arum made it very clear "No Rematch" "I Don't Believe In Rematches" these are his words leading up to this fight because I think he thought like a lot of people that Loma would win
Lopez is not going to do Top Rank No Favors! He even talked about how things was stacked against him going into this fight by his own damn promoter clearly was on Loma side and wanted him to win. So now Lopez will stick it to Arum and Top Rank and will ask for A LOT!Comment

I'm a Loma fan, but you have to give Lopez his due.
Was a masterful and mature performance from a young kid.
Lopez did NOT let Loma get on his side or behind him, and kept Loma very honest with his power, speed and movement. It's not until Loma started bullying his way and closing the distance frontally, he started landing on Lopez.
I don't think people don't understand how much bigger and stronger Lopez is than Loma and a lot of other fighters. There was a lot of risk for Loma coming in, to do the damage and he understood that.
Waiting for 6 rounds without throwing anything and letting Lopez take the easy rounds was always going to be a BAD strategy. As it unnecessarily exposed Loma to risk in the later rounds, especially R12.
But that's a problem for Loma camp to analyse post fight.
I think there's definitely a case for a re-match, and I can see why Lopez camp don't want it.
I don't agree with scores as I had Lopez winning, 1, 6 and maybe 12, with rounds 2 - 5 could go either way with no punches being thrown or landed.
Loma clearly winning 7 - 11.Comment
