Bellows was the most experienced, and tested fighter to date on Berlanga's record. The referee could've let it go on until Berlanga dropped him. Make no mistake he was on the verge of dropping Bellows. I don't know if he would've knocked him out clean, but the TKO was coming possibly in the first. In the second for sure, the longer the fight lasted the more damage Bellows would've suffered. Berlanga has serious power there is no debating that, he doesn't snap his punches out. Maybe that why one post states that he has clubbing punches. Maybe he sacrifices snap for power, my question is what does that matter? If he's knocking out his opponents with ease, I now I would continue to win with what got me there. He's fighting in December, probably March in P.R., and June for the Puerto Rican day Parade in New York City. If he wins those fights against progressively better opposition what are the critics going to say then. I agree he hasn't fought anyone special yet, but this is the most fighters are matched up in the beginning of their careers. The last to opponents weren't sub par, they were progressively better Than the opponents he had been fighting. His next 3 fights should be against opponents ranked in the top 15. Then he should take on top 10 opponents for his next 2 or 3 fights. He should have been taken past the first round'(s), by then. If he's still undefeated by then he'll have amassed a record of 20-0, 21-0, and should be more than ready for a shot at the title. At super Middleweight, or at Light Heavyweight with a good chance of winning in either division.

It’s good TV and it’s fun. The masses eat that up. 15 - 0 all KOs and all in the first round.

I like him for that and it’s good for the sport because it might bring the sport some attention. But as soon as he faces someone in the top 10, I’m putting my money on the guy in the top 10.

It’s almost like how Wilder was for awhile. Wilder relied on his power way too much.

this dude. I've never seen somebody make so many cheesy one liners in interviews and take so much pride in beating on smaller guys. this guy loves his hype. no doubt he has burner accounts giving himself props.

If he keeps facing subpar opponents, no reason to think anything different.

I could use a quick buck.

Sick of Bumlanga already, when is this guy gonna step up or is he going to go the Bum Squad route and knock out 40 tomato cans?
