Loma tried to turn it on after 7 but it was too little, too late.

I don’t think I’d like a rematch too. Loma should leave 135 and go back to 130. He still has a business to settle there. That loss wasn’t as bad as people make it out to be. Leave that behind with dignity and start fighting guys his size this time around

I find it quite interesting how some of you say there is no need for a rematch, but yet think there should be a rematch for Wilder and Fury

          interesting

Wilder added a rematch clause in his fight contract with Fury and he has the right to exercise that!

Loma REFUSED a rematch clause in his fight contract with Lopez!

The context i try to prove is, Loma's arrogance and underestimating Lopez gave him TWO Ls, one in this fight and no rematch.

If you are the A side, emphasized a rematch clause in your contract. You have that power.

Smart man, better to lose once than twice... Best decision Loma has made so far in his sad pathetic career.

Lomachenko should retire then. His career is worthless if he can't dominate Lopez and the rest of the young guys at 135. He was happy to stay with Top Rank and get scraps his entire career, no Mikey fight, no Pacquiao, no Santa Cruz, no Floyd, etc etc, so this late part of his career at 135-147 was his only chance to make a legacy.

And his first big test, he didn't throw punches for 6 rounds. The guy is basically a joke. There was a lot of potential and excitement there that had fans liking him, because it seemed to be going somewhere spectacular. But the car barely even got started and then this happens. If he doesn't avenge the loss, and avenge it in style, and then go on and make up for losing the first fight in the first place by beating Tank, Taylor, Ramirez, Crawford, etc, in style, then he's a joke. It's easy to laugh now and say "Crawford? Yeah right," but that's the type of potential Loma was supposed to have, the new Pacquiao basically but with more defense and less KO's. But he doesn't sell tickets like Pacquiao.

I think this showed that Vasyl Lomachenko's father is a fraud as a boxing trainer more than anything. Lomachenko definitely looked like a fraud the first 6 rounds, but Papachenko looked like a fraud the whole fight.

Are we sure Papachenko trained Usyk against Gassiev? Because the first 6 rounds of this Lomachenko vs Lopez fight, it looked like Lomachenko was fighting with the same gameplay that Gassiev fought with against Usyk.

Loma is done with nothing to show for, legacy wise, in the pros. I think we are done with his fanboys. They'll latch on to the next Eastern Euro.
