If you go by CompuBox...you simply cannot have this a wide win for Lopez.

Lopez landed a whopping 42 more punches than Loma, despite throwing twice the number.
Put in better perspective: Manny missed 83% of his punches against Floyd. Lopez missed 82% of his against Loma.
THAT, ladies and gents, is why I couldn't give Lopez the 12th. He was whiffing punches. GO back and watch it again. He landed, Loma landed more.
I scored the fight a draw. I can argue 7-5 for Lopez. I can argue 7-5 for Loma. At a stretch I can accept 8-4 Lopez.
The three rounds people are confused over are Rounds 2, 7 and 12.
Ward gave Lopez 2. I didn't. Didn't see it. At all.
People seem to think Loma couldn't have won 7 or 12. I challenge you to go back and watch it again.
7 was a chess match, could give it to either guy, but 12? Lopez missed half of what he threw.
This was a close fight that shouldn't have been close. Lopez had no answer when Loma was on the attack moving forward.
It actually reminded me a LOT of Srisaket vs. Estrada 2. Same kind of chess match, same kind of faulty strategy. That fight ended in a 7-5 for Estrada, which was a correct score.
