When Loma turned it on, Teo really didn't have an answer other than to push off. The rds Loma won were more emphatic than the rds Teo won.

Loma lost this more than Teo won it.

I can understand that sentiment. I will also add that Teo did what he had to in those early rounds and all 12 count the same (excluding knockdowns) whether you win by a little or a lot.

Loma had tons of success when he pressed the action, which makes it all the more disappointing that he took so long to get going.

Either way I would love to see a rematch because there is still intrigue for me.

Unfortunately Lopez won't give Loma a rematch and I can't blame him. It is Lomas fault for being overconfident and not having rematch clause in contract.

I had Loma winning 7/5

I gave him the second, and all of 6 thru 11. His work was just higher quality and he was able to make teo miss a lot. Those rounds that teo won, he never truly imposed himself. Hitting air and gloves and elbows with 1s and 2s isn't really dominant. He never sent Loma's head back but loma did manage to land many flush combos.

The big thing in teo's favour was his reflexes and that uppercut when loma went to his left, he did a much better job neutralizing him than anyone else has done.

I thought teo won but I watched the fight a second time with the volume turned off and carefully and I had to change my mind...

I see lomas point.

About the myth ending; yeah maybe. I would say that Teo more or less cracked the code with his style.

But I can't agree he won convincingly. Remember andre wards card and the commentators all had it basically even, with the last round deciding.

Lmfao. This loss is really devastating for him for multiple reasons.

It was a humiliating performance by Loma who didn’t fight for the 1st 6 rounds.

Then he lost a close 7th and decided to put his foot on the gas.

Credit to him imo he won rounds 8-11. But it cost him because in the 12th he couldn’t avoid the power punches.

To suggest the 12th was close is utterly crazy.
