Someone tell Loma and Thurman a 12rd fight doesn’t start in the 7th round.

You cannot sit back and do nothing for 6 rounds and expect to pull it around in your favour...mathematics....in a 15 round fight yeah you have a chance but not 12......2 mistakes loma made in that fight one is he seriously underestimated this kids ability and two tactically he messed up and thought he could stop Lopez late.
You see the way loma stepped o. the gas and clearly won 8,9,10,11 which tells me he could have did it earlier .....that’s overconfidence and now it’s cost him

I agree, you could hear the “thuds”. That kid hits hard AND he has a damn fast trigger.
Cong**** to Lopez. He did an excellent job. I especially liked seeing him have to dig deep. I also LOVED that he didn’t listen to his dad in the 12th round. He fought his arse off. Very impressed.

He did same with manny. Didn’t start fighting until the 6th or 7th.

Not really... Manny got tired and Thurman stepped up but he started from round 1 than got clipped. He was actually winning round 1 before the KD. Loma didnt do sh#t for 6 rounds... big difference.

I have no idea what he thought. The younger. bigger fighter wasnt going to get tired fighting the way they were fighting. Very bad strategy.
