Oh, I'm not saying go take risks in the 2nd round. But by rounds four and five, you have to start being more assertive and take some chances. Even if you lose some of those rounds, at least you are putting some mental pressure on Lopez and making him work for those rounds. But whatever, the fight played out the way it did and a potential star was born.

Lomachenko is going to have some difficult fights at 130, so it will be interesting to see how his career plays out as he continues to age.
I will just never understand what happens to get an 11-1 card in a fight like that.

I don't really follow little guys that much but maybe Loma has some good fights at 130. Seems like everyone is at 135 now but idk really

Congratulations to Lopez, he talked the talk and walked the walk, this is how you become a superstar and today he became one, he fought the best to become that, he didn’t have to duck the best, fought bums to do it. He walked the walk, as a Loma fan I bow to him and give him the respect and superstar status that he deserves.

People always say the fix is in but in reality, there is a whole a lot of incompetence going on. You can't just tell the judges to score a fight fair and then fix another one. More likely that some of these judges want to get more assignments so they score it a certain way. But one myth that can finally stop is the crowd noise impacting the judges scorecards. Well, there is no crowd noise in the bubble and we have been seeing terrible cards after terrible cards.

135 has some really good young fighters, but there is plenty of competition for Lomachenko at 130.
