No you can’t say that he just thought this young pup will tire let me buy my time. When he realised he isn’t going away he took the fight to Teo. Threw caution to the wind and stepped to the big man and was caught clean endless times and kept coming

No one is dis*****g that. But Lomachenko hung in there. And again, the Ref thought he was babysitter. Everytime Lopez wanted the fight reset, he got what he wanted. That seriously affected Lomachenko's ability to apply his offense, which based less on raw power and more on skill and experience.

It won Lopez the round, but on my score card he was still down a round. For Ward, it was what Lopez needed to secure a draw.

You know Boxing better than Andre Ward!?
Does ward know it better than Bradley and the other commentators that gave it to Lopez ?

That's the difference. I'm a boxing fan first.

And I've accepted that Loma lost that round by consensus, but he still wins the fight on my card, as I explained.

Lopez made him look ordinary but I will commend both their hearts today
Loma could tell that he had too much snap and power early. If he was too brazen, he would have been looking up at stars. It was the right move but he waited 2 rounds too late. (BS cards not considered of course)

I'm with you man. I watched the fight with an entire Pub with no sound and EVERY fan in that pub believed they saw that yes, Loma was studying Lopez for the first 4 rounds, but after that he was landing, outboxing, outmanoeuvring and making Lopez miss.
Any punches Lopez threw landed on the gloves. I rarely saw a punch land on Loma.
Everyone had it 7-5 for Loma, and I understand why Loma alked out of that ring in disgust.
Basically Lopez threw more, but Loma landed more. It could have been a draw, but those wide margin cards for a Lopez shutout? ridiculous

I think it was more the emotional impact of Loma's strategy and lack of urgency early. His fans were frustrated, his detracors relished in the fact that he wasn't running away with the fight as exected.

But yeah, maybe I was too generous, but I scored some early rounds 10-10. I gave the last round to Lopez. I had it 115-114 Lomacheno. But I don't have a problem with anyone who gave Lopez a NARROW victory.
