No doubt some ring rust but Loma was not Loma tonight.
His volume was down because Lopez unleashed that prime Andre Berto uppercut from his tool bag. that weapon will keep you cautious .. Loma had to think really hard before punching

Loma fought scared for 5 straight rounds! My wife literally fell asleep! You gotta HIT and not get hit! Loma had zero offense until late in the fight!

I'm definitely with whatever clique feels this was on its way too a dead draw and that Teo's front half dominance was mostly on account of Loma being a ****ing sea animone and that Loma's back half rounds were stronger going into that impressive closer rally from Teo and there's an argument for Loma too little too late and that Teo while deserving of the win didn't "brutalize" him or look devastating so much as just sharp. I think it's a fair assessment. BUT if you're Loma you can't acquit yourself that way here, so whether Teo did in fact get in his head or there was too much "buffer" on tonight's download or whatever, fair result. I'm not sure I'd favor anyone else at the weight over Teo at this moment.

              .

Wtf - Loma lost the first 7 rounds without question.

By your own description You at max had Loma winning 4 Rounds? I gave him two and a possible.

Yes Loma started closing the distance in round 8 but he still didn't win that round. Not sure he won nine. I gave him 10 and 11 clear. Teo beat him down in the 12th.

Loma had great moments but it was Loma who fought too cautious in the beginning. But it was what Teo did that kept him honest.

Wasn’t close and stop telling us Loma is the best boxer in the world. Haney should have got him first with that Franchise BS. And today, Teo does not have all 4 belts. Because the WBC is the Franchise. The real belt is with Haney. Stop playing with folks.

i don't think loma was scared of lopez power, in the second half he didn't look scared at all, i think he was just to confidence in his game plan and it backfired. he did look good in the end while lopez looked tired. loma's rounds were more clear than lopez and other than the low blow lopez was the one looking hurt at moments, loma just has better stamina.

Can’t wait for my signature from BLASTER1

Shout out to Lopez for taking this risk, we need to see that more often!

Also kudos to Loma for doing his best to come back from that deep hole he put himself into!

I started off rooting for Teo and ended up rooting for Loma cuz of the sheer determination and no quit attitude!

Would love to see a rematch cuz it was definitely ended up being close despite what the judges had but let’s get Lopez vs Haney for ALL the belts!

Totally agree... But he was probably too scared of getting knocked down.

So one war of looking at it is that Lopez muted Loma.

Lopez's power kept Loma at bay and Loma didn't have anything to keep Lopez off of him.

Oh well, well see what's next.

I think if I’m espn, I’m more interested in a rematch. You gotta think Loma must be able to get a rematch. But also I wanna say this, it’s pretty pathetic that some fans are hating on Loma for losing, that’s why fighters get protected. Lopez showed that he’s a throwback fighter and to me has a bit of Duran in him. He still has alot more to improve imo especially fighting off his backfoot but the potential is endless from here. Also, the gameplan was pretty wrong from Loma, I do believe he got with some shots in the first half of the fight but nothing too crazy. Imo this was a great all time win from Lopez and I hope he gets his due. It’s refreshing to see from new age boxing.
