If boxing powers, promoters, networks, sanctioning bodies would stop duike measuring amongst themselves boxing would be much better. All these guys are doing and saying the right things, its just these powers to be that want to hold on to them and milk the last dime. It's not going to come down to Loma being the only one responsible for fighting these guys: Haney, Tank, and KingRy. They also have to fight each other. Great fights come from when most of the top guys fight each other. It is a party that every top fighter is invited to partake in. You can have multiple stars.

Sulaiman is on record in the past saying that the Franchise Championship is not a "defended title". You can't unify a title that isn't defended.

No, Mauricio is trying to pull a fast one because of the fiasco with the Franchise designation, which multiple people on here called out was going to be eventually be a problem.

OFFICIALLY, the winner would not have unified the division completely and would have to fight Haney to do that (which we know won't ever happen).

There are five top-rated stars in the hunt for a crack at just one recognized green and gold belt.

At present, Vasyl Lomachenko is the universally acknowledged champion. This is despite the WBC elevating the Ukrainian to Franchise level.

Franchise Champion means Lomachenko can fight for any WBC title in any division at will. The accolade is only given to the very best.

Due to this reason, Devin Haney was handed [what] is now seen as the normal version of the strap. But it’s widely known that until Haney beats Lomachenko or the pound for pound star loses, the American won’t be fully seen as the full title-holder.

This whole thing is a straight up disaster and it's a BAD precedent to be setting in an already convoluted title picture. Only the IBF still has their head not up their ass.

Lomachenko has beaten literally anyone worth mentioning from 126-135 during his time there and you still find ways to discredit him.

You'll do it again tonight when Loma wipes Lopez despite proclaiming his greatness all ****ing week and how great he is.

And then you'll go, oh, you Loma fans thought Teofimo was a bum anyways so he gets no credit, move on the the next boogeyman.
