I don't know, I don't think I totally agree with all that. I think Mikey was the fight to make but that's gone. I don't think I totally blame either fighter for that not happening but more likely politics killed that fight. Mikey and Bob working together just doesn't seem too realistic to me.

140 and the top guys at 140 seems like a bridge too far. Lomachenko is a better fighter than Taylor but natural size might just make that a bridge too far imo. I wouldn't mind seeing Chon Zepeda move back down to 135 for Loma. Berchelt move up to 135. Tank would be good as well. I don't think that Haney fight is happening.

I agree about the Berchelt fight. He already looks extremely large for his weight class.
On a side note, I could see Loma getting undisputed at LW and moving back to 130 and cleaning up some of the fresh talent there. He's just not big enough for JWW imo. But truthfully he didn't look that much smaller than Lopez, its just the reach where he falls short.

That's interesting actually. And a coincidence.. I saw the weigh in on video but couldn't see their feet at all. The "little toe" remark was only my kidding..

I believe every boxer is a bit nervous BEFORE the fight starts, and forgets about it when the bell rings. he has to concentrate on what's in front of him. I recall I was always nervous, and I very vividly remember the one time only, I was perfectly calm and hardly concerned whilst waiting for the bell to ring. And I was fighting the Army champion. I was just 16 and small, he was lanky. My trainer, the famous Frankie Kerr, told me to rush him and give everything I had for the first 30 secs, which I did. When the fight was over, Frankie told me that I'd KOd him with a left hook and woke him up again when he was dropping, with an uppercut. My brother said the same. I was too busy bashing away to see it. It became quite a fight after.. .

Anyway, I expect Lopez to settle down pretty quickly and make it a good fight, whoever wins will deserve to. He's a bit flatfooted, but at the same time he saves energy, and Lomachenko expends loads of it. He must move at least 4-5 times as far in distance as any of his opponents. That he can hold his breath under water for 4.5 minutes likely has a lot to do with it. That's a hell of a long time. I used to do just on 4 mins but NOT under water. no way. He must have lungs like balloons.

I boxed bro. Jitters leave after the first few punches are over. I used to want to feel power from my opponents then id do my thing accordingly.
