"Teofimo Lopez sucks. He struggled with the Japanese guy."

Why are some Loma fans saying Teofimo sucks? Lopez did everything he had to do to get himself to become a champion and be considered the consensus #2 in the division.

I mean, way to go on shitting on your guy's win before it even (most likely) happens.

People forget that he UD' Nakatani. They never mention how Loma got dropped by Linares and stunned by Campbell. We'll see what happens Saturday though.

Why do people get mad about that kind of stuff? They're fighters, should they kiss each other's asses? If he put Lomachenko on a pedestal he shouldn't even share a ring with him.

Teofimo didn't seem to know what to do that night when his power wasn't enough to out Nakatani away. So what? He still won and Nakatani isn't the first Japanese guy to prove himself to be extremely durable.

Agreed for the 1st time he fought someone who he couldn't knockout. He did beat him soundly though, You 100% right about Nakatani being durable, Loma not so much. He's been hurt ever since he's been at 135 & has looked very human in his last 2 fights. I expect Teofimo to get him out of there in less than 6 rounds.

I like Lomachenko but Lopez has many things that are in his favour. Size, power, youth, AND Lopez is unusually athletic and explosive. He's also a talented fighter. Loma is extremely athletic too and he's got an unorthodox, awkward style that causes a lot of problems for fighters. I really don't know how this is going to play out. I think Lomachenko will win with his skill....but I don't feel totally confident. When you get two talented fighters like this fighting for their lives, anything can happen. People acting like this will be a white wash are fooling themselves. I don't care how great Lomachenko is, this is not likely to be a walk in the park. Don't get me wrong, Lomachenko IS great, but as I said I don't feel safe and comfortable in my prediction that he will win. Maybe if Lopez looks horrible at the day before weigh-in, then I'll feel more confidence.

Nakatani is huge for the weight.

Only mildly surprising Teo couldn't finish him.

                    He's a 6 foot tall lightweight.
