So the Wilder-Fury rematch clause is officially expired

The simple answer is team Wilder made the rules on the expiration date thinking Fury was going to hold up the rematch when they won but they are actually doing it now . There is a fight date set which had to made to get the venue in December.

The rematch claus was extended anyway with Covid and ran out this month ago due to team Wilders claus when he had the belt ,they made the ruling .

Fury wants to fight this year , Wilder does not otherwise his team doesn’t stay silent or they contest it ,hence he’s in no position to stall Furys career and that leaves an option for AJ in 2021 .

Not unless the WBC makes Wilder the mandatory which I wouldn�t put it past them but we�re talking 2022 there if Fury still has the belt .

So yea Wilder is gone off the title scene . Maybe he can get the WBC to make him a side belt To this day belt.
