Comments Thread For: Rivas' Promoter Smiles: How Ironic if We Get WBC Shot Before Whyte!

Top contender Oscar Rivas is ready and willing to fight WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in December. As BoxingScene.com recently reported, Fury is tired of waiting for the finalization of a contracted trilogy with Deontay Wilder - and instead he plans to stay busy with a homecoming fight on December 5 in the UK.

Looking at the WBC top 15 ratings Rivas and Charles Martin are the only available fighters, so it most likely be Rivas.

How Ironic that Tyson may tamper with his gloves too!

          Rivas or Kabayel is fine.

Hopefully the bum Browne doesn't get it.

Rivas is better than Kabayel IMO.

Don't think he does well against Fury, but the way he got fucked over by Whyte means I'd rather Rivas get the shot than any of the other names that have been rumoured

                Is he?

Kabayel played with Chisora, who is better than anyone Rivas has beaten.

It would be a poor show if he got a shot coming off a loss.

They should Wilder the rankings and get Wach to magically appear in the top ten...then we can all marvel at how indestructible Fury is by beating an average-at-best opponent

Anybody moaning about Rivas...he's a much higher calibre opponent than Stiverne, Molina, Arreola, Szpilka, and Washington
