I do like how you concede that the GGG/Canelo decisions weigh his ranking heavily and I think Golovkom deserved the first nod but water under the bridge at this point.

I expect Fury to make that list once he takes AJs belts and becomes undisputed.
I make careful note that it's based on official decisions. Hard issue to solve for.

Sorry not to see Beterbiev at least in the round-up. Guy has dominated probably the most competetive division their currently is.

The boxingscene P4P is awful. These guys deviated from the original premise of P4P, does anyone truly believe that Vasily Bumochenko beats Terence Crawford straight up? Even at 135? HELL NO.

Despite this list not being a "this guy beats this other guy"...

I do imagine a scenario where Loma would expect, based on the Khan fight, that Crawford would implement a Salido strategy to try to beat him with low blows. Which he wouldn't allow this time.

And I do think that Loma would frustrate Crawford into losing his temper and walking into traps, just like he did against Kavaliauskas.

So from my perspective, I do have Loma winning that at 135. Probably by Crawford getting himself DQ'd.

I think there are a million places to have that debate and it's fun and have at it. I'm just over it. I wanted to set aside a spot where we can track who among the best are having/having the chances for the fights with the better rated guys around them across the scale. This isn't a P4P list in the normal sense.

I like the concept, however I would change the title of this new ranking system among the elite. P4P is confusing as it is for most people ; in spite the fact that the basic principles are very simple.

                Man, fxck this index.

Terence Crawford behind a guy who got knocked out by a morbidly obese slob, who didn't even train for the rematch is ridiculous
