    Emanuel Navarrete = Jamie Mungia

Same damn fighter. Gary Russell Jr and Shakur Stevenson give him the bidness.

Dude, Navarette is a way more seasoned fighter than bumass Bumguia.

He isnt just some free swinging limited fighter and there is certain method to his offense. Navaratte has good offensive technique and little tricks up his sleeve.

Munguia isnt on his level. You cant look good in every fight.

Navarette is awkward and seems to present problems for boxers. Vila had good amateur background. I heard he had a win over Shakur. But could be wrong. Who is this Gary Russell guy?

He's winning on size alone. Probably dropping 30 pounds every camp to make feather. The reason he didnt look good in his last fight is because he wasn't fighting a 122 pounder lol. Funny how a little bit of head movement and angles can expose a fighter. Shakur and Gary would take that to the next level.

He beat Shakur when they were something like 14 years old so I wouldn't look too much into that.

His last fight wasn't impressive, he was swinging wild and missing hard

Yup. Add Nery to the list. Amazing what happens when these world killing power punchers stop draining themselves to the bone when they step on the scale.

I think he beats the often overrated Stevenson and might beat Russell as well. His fighting style may look sloppy and his punches may look wild but his unusual fighting style works and he wins rounds and he wins fights. He is a big puncher who throws punches in a different way that his opponents are often surprised by.

He has twice as many KO wins as Stevenson has total fights. He is a real champion and Stevenson is just a prospect they are building up carefully. They would not dare risk Stevenson against him now. I think he would KO Stevenson without difficulty. Russell Jr is a very good champion but not unbeatable. His height, reach and power give him a good chance to beat Russell Jr. in my opinion. I would love that fight.
