First off, to have the facial injuries he has in a car crash like that, it's NOTHING. Cosmetic injuries mostly. The dude didn't break a bone I think they said?

The pandemic hit at a good time because he probably would have fought sooner. He's had tons of time for recovery. Like probably more than even was recommended for him, so I think he'll be 100% without a doubt. What do you think the injury did? Weakened his power? Weakened his boxing IQ? Weakened his chin? Gtfo. I honestly think he'll be 100% himself on fight night.

With that said, he's lucky he didn't kill anyone. I hope he doesn't drink and drive anymore. The unfortunate truth is that for some people it takes an accident or mistake to learn from it. Until that happens, they think they're invincible and that it will not happen to them. Spence got the lucky end of it by not killing anyone else otherwise you can bet you wouldn't see him fight for awhile. The fact that he came out with mostly cosmetic injuries and didn't kill anyone, it's a frikin MIRACLE.

No doubt him being ready to fight is a win. It's an amazing chapter or two in the Errol Spence book one day when it gets written.

If he can still compete at the same level he did I think is still to be determined doe. I have a hard time believing such an experience didn't take something out of him or change him in some way that could be a negative in the ring. We shall find out soon cuz Danny ain't no easy W.
