    What does Jay Deas bring?

On a different topic...I like the idea of annuities for fighters. If they do that correctly they can have good money coming in after their careers are over.
I also liked that bit, didn't know that about Breland.

Mailbag on point!.....The Wilder assessments(?) - TOTALLY AGREE with! But I DISAGREE with Tysons "zone" theory - to a point. Tyson succumbed to a Twilight 'Zoned' aggressive display of 'pushing his weight around' in the literal sense - like a spazzed out bully in heat on crack....

Breland (one of the coolest dudes I know) had NOTHING for Furys CRAZED out lean fest ankle breaking philosophy - neither did Wilder.....Wilders ATTITUDE will be the difference in the rematch: low blows for excessive leaning,... low blows for rabbit punches...LOW BLOWS for the BULLY taller guy while he's LICKING blood off the shoulder - for ANYTHING that's CONSTANTLY being displayed - that deviates from the 'SPORT' of boxing!

I am not aware that Wilder has heart. Where did Bread get that from? Who has he fought to show the boxing world that he has heart, Ortiz? The only credible HW he has fought in his entire career he lost twice.

For what? Reynoso will start teaching him boxing which will take too long at this stage to show some visible results. Let him continue whatever is working for him - one punch power. Plus Deas will talk him out of wearing a suit next time, so there is your footwork training..

Showing heart does not mean winning. Its not giving up. I believe he does have it in him.

Wilder obviously has flaws but not knowing how to fight on the inside is the biggest one. Sugar Hill made sure Fury improved his inside fighting in his last fight with Wilder and it paid off big time, you saw Fury pushing Wilder back and going to the body when he had Wilder on the ropes. The inside game is what's going to propel Wilder to another level so he could deal with fighters up close in my opinion.
That's not even the biggest issue.

The biggest issue is that Wilder's trainers don't know **** about boxing.

Take the first fight for example.

All they had to do was tell Wilder to use more body shots and to aim his jab and right hand lower.

Fury likes to duck under punches and that's how he was avoiding Wilder for most of the fight. Those two simple adjustments get Wilder the stoppage. His corner said nothing about that at all.

Furthermore, they were trying to get Wilder to use the catch and shoot technique. That's not Wilder's strength at all. That's just way too technical for Wilder to execute consistently over twelve rounds. That's why he ate so much leather in the first fight.

                The second fight:

OMG!!! I knew Wilder was gonna lose that fight like a week after the first fight, in fact not even a week just a few days afterwards when Wilder came out and said that he and his team decided that they are going to bulk up and get bigger so that they can have more power to knock Fury out.

                Defaq!!!!!

Defaq defaq defaq is that garbage!!!

Was there anything in the first fight that made it appear that Wilder didn't have the power to KO Fury?

Power was not the issue AT FAQiNG ALL!!!

Fury got dropped every time Wilder landed clean, he was even hurt by a few jabs in the early/middle rounds. Defaq happened in that fight that would make anyone think that size and power was defaqing issue?

                It wasn't.

                Skills were the issue.

Tactics and strategy were the issue.

Speed and stamina were the issue.

Fury had way more stamina than Wilder. Wilder was gassing even in rounds where he hurt and dropped Fury. Wilder needed to work on getting fitter, bulking up does NOT help with stamina, it does the exact opposite in fact.

Speed was an issue. Fury's punches were much faster than Wilder. Gaining muscle mass DOES not help with speed, it does the OPPOSITE, it slows you down.

Tactis and strategy. Clearly these guys didn't know what the **** happened in the first fight which is why they had absolutely no strategy in neither the first or the second fight. The decision to have Wilder bulk up is proof of that.

Finally. Power! Lol, these guys are a joke. Gaining muscle mass doesn't even improve Wilder's punching power. That only works for thudding heavy handed punchers. Wilder relies on thrust and momentum for his power. He needs to be lean to generate power, not bigger. He is like a cricket fast bowler. The fastest cricket bowlers are lean because they need to be in order to generate the neccassary thrust and momentum.

His own team completely sabotaged Wilder. Took his power, his speed, and his stamina away and gave him absolutely no strategy or tactic to win the fight.

Wilder should accept Floyd's and George Foreman's help and definitely made the right decision in firing his trainer. I think he should fire both trainers.
