"Fury has to prove himself" nonsense

Been seeing this more and more and by God is it annoying

And its often from the same types who crowned Luis Ortiz "the boogeyman" for beating Jennings

    So let's discuss

Fury beats 10 year reigning ATG klitschko, goes off and has a mental breakdown then comes back and beats up 10 defence champ Wilder who AJ ducked for 3 years

Result? Fury needs to "prove himself"

    Luis Ortiz beats Bryant Jennings

Result "Ortiz is the boogeyman they dare not speak his name"!!!

    Wtf?

fury has proved himself a title winner twice for sure.

perhaps they mean can he maintain it and make a defence...but if they mean that, hick, they should clear. After all Wilder made 10 cack defences, yet barely proved himself titleworthy in a single one f them.

Brah. He beat a 40+ year old dinosaur and a man according to this forum, has ZERO boxing ability. YES, he needs to prove himself. He is far from being called great. I don't care how good your skills are. If you don't use them to prove it against plenty of top flight competition, you are not great AND you still need to prove yourself.

Nandrolone Fury has only beat 2 guys in the current top 30. 2. So yes, he needs to prove himself. That means there are 27 boxers in the current top 30 that he can possibly face. But what will he do if the wilder fight doesn't happen??? He will go straight for another tune-up bum fight like Schwarz, Wallin, Pianetta or Sefari.. This dude is a con man and a fraud and I see right through him

I definitely don’t want to see him retire, I want to see him taking on all comers. When you are the hunted then the game changes. He has always been the hunter, let’s see how he deals with the people who are coming for him. I remember when Kamaru Usman beat Tyron Woodley in MMA, woodley mum hugging and telling Usman to go out there and prove himself, that it’s your time now and they would be coming for you... They sure have been coming for him since.

I don't think you needed to make this thread.I have never read a single post on this forum saying Ortiz is better than Fury. Wilder KOed Ortiz and Fury KOed Wilder. Probably at least 90% of this forum consider Fury the best heavyweight in the world so why worry about it?
