Gotta love it when doughy guys are faster, stronger and beat up ripped guys, which is the likely outcome of this fight.

I just can't get excited about this fight. Villa may be talented, but he is totally unproven. Navarette would be better served to stay at 122 and face the other top guys. If moving up to 126, then he should test himself against one of the proven top featherweights.

It's been a while since Navarrete fought a southpaw.

Plus, Villa is no ordinary southpaw, he beat Shakur Stevenson and Devin Haney.

Vaquero had to strip to make weight?

          Villa might dominate.

He even beat Stevenson twice from my understanding. This could be his coming out party.

Or he gets his shit pushed in, who knows. I've been wrong before.

              I agree could be.

Navarrete is just a beast but Villa is very talented.

Villa beat Shakur 2 times, maybe the reason Stevenson vacated his title is because Villa was going to be his Mandatory....

It should be very competitive, but I lean towards Vaquero mainly due to his experience defending the world title multiple times. He knows how to push the pace without using up too much energy, and this pressure will take its toll on Villa in the second half of the fight.

I've overlooked this fight - after reading the comments, now I am interested. Didn't really know Villa - southpaw huh. Navarette being able to switch hit himself, along with his hpace, has made him quite the handful.
