Comments Thread For: Jack Catterall To Arum: 'Send The Numbers Over' For a Fight With Jose Zepeda

Arum plans to put the fight together to take place in early 2021. While Taylor (17-0, 13 KOs) is free and clear of any mandatory obligations that would interfere with the fight, that is not the case with Ramirez (26-0, 17 KOs). He is saddled with another mandatory defense against England's unbeaten Jack Catterall.

Money talks. Send the man some good bread and get him vs Zepeda on that card. Would be a very good main/co-main combo. Winner gets their shot at undisputed glory.

Yes, catterall has called arums bluff! If Bob lives up to his word, he can pay him recently to fight Zapeda. If not he'll have to pay him a large step aside amount anyway if Taylor-Ramirez is gonna be next!

I’d love to see it play out like that. We’d get an undisputed champ in Taylor-Ramirez and then a legitimate contender to the title in the form of the winner of Zepeda-Catterall.

Turns out Catterall is a big clout chaser fighting Abderrazak Houya why not fight Subriel Matias, Arnold Barbosa, Jr or at former titleholder Chris Algeri. Like these bought and paid mandatory guys rarely fight each other unless they see it's a vacant title on the line. That's whats wrong with boxing not enough contenders fight each other and not EVERY CONTENDER fight is a "CROSSROADS FIGHT" that's new age fight fans favorite word to say now. It gets really annoying
