Top 5 Best Wins In The Past 5 Years

These are what i think that are the most important wins in the past 5 years in boxing;feel free to post yours

    5. Ruiz Vs AJ; the modern day buster douglas- mike tyson. Ruiz built like a pig destroying the adonis like , adored AJ as a 30-1 underdog

4.Canelo Vs Golovkin 2; Canelo ending one of the greatest middleweights to ever do it undefeated streak with 25+ defenses

3.Fury Vs Klitshcko; Fury who was laughed at and even by the british media;ending klitschkos 10 year undefeated undefeated run in his own backyard

    2. Mayweather Vs Pacquiao ;mayweather solidilfying himself as the greatest of his generation against another once in a generation wonder like pacquiao in a boringish fight

    1. Fury vs Wilder; fury pulling off another stunning win against a man with 41kos in 42 fights 0 losses 5th year as a wbc champion by brutalizing the bully in his own backyard.

Honorable mentions: pac- thurman, crawford- indongo (crawford becoming the first undisputed in almost a decade) , vargas - miura, ward-kovalev 2, loma- rigo, inoue - donaire

That's a good list although I would swap the 2 Fury wins. Even though the Klitsko win was more of a chess match it was more unexpected I think.

      In the past 5 years?

Canelo vs GGG is probably number 1. Two p4p fighters. Easy in terms of importance.

I’m torn between Rungvisai vs Chocolatito and Estrada vs Rungvisai.

Fury-Klitschko is within 5 years. Easy shoe in.

Pacquiao-Thurman despite the “circumstances” surrounding Thurman.

And in terms of the level of high level violence/dire consequences (and admittedly, nut huggery) I’m throwing in Inoue and Donaire. Even if the favorite won, it was incredible imo and it doesn’t get much better and savage than that fight at those weight classes. Very important fight there, too for those couple surrounding classes.

Tried to spread out the wins in divisions. Ruiz-Aj is definitely up there but Fury-Klitschko has held up with Fury continuing his “era” of sorts.

And you know what, honorable mention to Floyd vs McGregor in terms of sheer boxing spectacle. Doesnt mean we have to like it but it was indeed a sight to behold

Pac-Hattonesque. But those fights make that Estrada win even more impressive so it’s like ahh.. which one, ya know?

good list but i have a bone to pick with #4

golovkin isnt one of the greatest MWs ever

but hes a very good fighter...and the matchup was big...two p4p guys...big build up......what made it big was that golovkin was supposed to have beaten canelo soundly and ko'd him the first time...when he didnt...he and his fans begged canelo to stand and fight...canelo obliged and beat him

Golovkin is a middleweight goat. Hes had 25+ defences.

'With a streak of 23 knockouts that spanned from 2008 to 2017, he holds the highest knockout-to-win ratio – 89.7% – in middleweight championship history, meanwhile ending twelve 6+ winning streaks of his opponents and stopping 4 previously undefeated boxers. Golovkin is also said to have one of the most durable chins in boxing history, having never been knocked down or otherwise stopped in a total of 392 fights, 42 as a professional and 350 as an amateur.'

Another thing to note is canelo has a stellar resume but his best win and his surefire ticket to hof 1st ballot was the golovkin win. Canelo can go up to 175 and knock out beterbiev but ggg will remain his best win.
