Ruben Villa is a local kid from Salinas you may have already seen on sho box.

War Boxing because we got a quality fight on free ESPN on Friday but most threads would rather discuss nonsense.

It seems like alot of people on here are unaware of who Villa is. He's a solid fighter from what I've seen of him. His power is lacking but he makes up for it in ability IMO

He�s solid. Not spectacular and in this fight Navarrete is the A Side, but Ruben is a very live dog. Good ability, movement and at his natural size where he is very strong.

It�ll be competitive and can�t wait!

I expect Navarrete to overwhelm the kid and score a late TKO.

Navarrete is for real from his work rate to power and the additional weight should actually benefit the young fighter.

Villa has wins over Shakur Stevenson and Devin Haney in the amateurs. The kid can fight. Don't be surprised if he makes Navarrette look silly in there.

Exactly

Navarrete is a beast dude is huge for the weight iron chin, hits like a truck and is non stop pressure.

I like villa too and I think he�ll win some early rds but once Navarette gets warmed up he�s gonna run through Villa.
