Huge Ppv main event mismatch!! Davis/Pbc need to grow a pair and risk that 0 for once instead of fighting pillow-fisted past it smaller fighters! Pathetic he initially wanted to fight Abner Mares!!

I will give major props if Tank makes 130! I might just buy the PPV after all?

Its a fair question when his previous fight was at 135 and you have been overweight before. If Canelo was fighting at 160 next, he'd get asked about weight given his last fight was at 175.

They will have to weigh his trainer first and then he will have to pick up Tanks limp body and get on the scale again and subtract his weight I assume.

What I noticed from this article, which I believe earlier months were mentioned, were the fees should Davis miss weight. I remember Boxingscene reporting that Cruz said huge fees would be set for Davis. That wasn’t said in this article. And therefore, what are the fees? Since when are fee amounts per lb not disclosed for major fight articles? This what’s suspect under PBC.
Yup, it was interesting that no mention was made to any fine etc if Davis does not make weight. Cruz will no doubt still fight even if Davis comes in huge because the money will be there for Cruz and he loves to be in the ring.

There are plenty of challenges for him at 130. Who does he expect to challenge him at 135? The buffet?

Actually it’s not about Davis being “huge” at all. Davis in fact is looking slimmer. Keep in mind that combat sportsmen vary in drain protocols. I think LSC will respect the 130 scale. Probably about 145lb fight night maybe more. The problem is cutting that water to compete against Davis who is a power puncher.

On the other hand I think Davis and handlers are TOTALLY fine if they can’t make the 130 scale and are EASILY taking the fine hits no problem! Davis is a Showtime PBC commodity and TMT fighter. The money is there and they need to sell his future fights.

Therefore, all Davis needs should he be over 130lbs is the PREDICTABLE “Davis is now only fighting for the 135 belt” which gives the promotion and PPV no consequence. As if Davis missing 130lbs is a consequence? Lol

1-2lbs in boxing for guys having trouble is debilitating. The last thing they want is Davis to underperform and lose.

Davis will probably be 147lbs on fight night while having missed the scale and weighing 132lbs. You’ll see.

I expect Tank Davis to make weight an show his full potential and wow the fans in attendance or who’s watching from home!

It’s time to go after the top names, Leo, Ryan, Loma in 2023, then Haney
