Funny how when Benavides had the belt Canelo didn't show interest. Now that it's vacant he's all of a sudden interested in fighting for it against a no name.

Funny how before Canelo the WBC MANDATED Benevidez fight Yildirim. Funny how I never heard anyone crying then. Funny how it was delayed so Benevidez took a voluntary fight where his undisciplined fat a$$ couldn’t make weight and was stripped. Funny how no one talks about Yildirim being mandatory to Benevidez and nary a peep is muttered yet Canelo’s name comes up all hell breaks loose. Funny how Yildirim who was the mandatory is again the mandatory but now for a different opponent who doesn’t seem to have a problem making weight.
