I heard that Castillo is in so much financial **** that he might not be seen for quite a while. The combined lawsuits against him would put him in debt to the tune of 50 million. If he does come back, he'd probably have to fight until he was sixty to cover that.
Those suits will never be won....no judge or jury is going to make this guy pay once they relize Corrales CHOSE not to fight over 4lbs....never in a million yrs. Besides I thought his ppl counter suied?

Exactly. But i bet you team Corrales will try to get a judge who understands the boxing game. Either way, Corrale is a *****.

If they did counter sue, what are they going to use as grounds to sue him with? Counter suing would probably stand to put Castillo in deeper ****. The 50 million is probably inflated; people always sue for punitive damages in ridiculous numbers.

It's called Breach Of Contract. Castillo signed a contract stating that he'd make 135 lbs. or less by 2pm the day before the fight. He didn't make good on his end of the contract and that cost many millions of dollars. He is only liable for actual expenses, not for missed profits, tho, so it's probably more like $500,000 or something like that (plus legal fees).
The fact that Corrales chose not to fight was his prerogative as written in the contract. When one side does not make good on their end, the other side can back out without any legal issue.
