Sorry but I don't see a bit of difference between TBE and Goat. The greatest of all time means the best boxer in the history of the sport. TBE or the best ever also means the best boxer who ever boxed or the best boxer in history. Two different ways of saying the same thing. Mayweather considers himself both TBE and Go.at. He likes the sound of TBF and refers to him self that way but he also considers himself the GOAT and has said so many times. No respected boxing expert that I know of agree with him and do not rate him as the best ever or even close. Anybody can say they are the best ever but it means nothing unless others agree. Mayweather is a huge bragger with no humility what so ever.

TBE means you never have to tell anyone you are TBE. If you have to try too hard to sell it to the public, you aren't it!

TBE means the best boxer ever to box in the history of the sport. GOAT means the best boxer ever to box in the history of the sport. Mayweather did not deliberately label himself TBE and not the GOAT. He also thinks he is the Goat and has said so many times. There is no boxer that Mayweather thinks is as good as himself. He thinks and says he is better than any of them. You seem to be trying to make a point that does not exist. Mayweather says he is the best boxer ever born, simple as that and end of story. Tyson Fury says the same thing.

Floyd’s era didn’t have the opportunities for him to become the GOAT, but Mayweather is certainly a TBE candidate

Question, if Floyd’s era didn’t give him opportunities to be the “GOAT” then how can he a TBE candidate.

You pretty much said his era was not strong enough for him to be the GOAT.

So in other words he fought in a weak era, which i agree with. If that’s the case then maybe his “skills” are overrated too since his competition wasn’t good.

Maybe Floyd’s a product of looking great because of shít competition.
