I do not mind trash talking like how Gary Peyton used to do it. What I find useless is when you make it personal for no apparent reason and attack someone's family etc.
eh...i mean...we all know what an intense competitor kevin garnett was....and i think we all know the type of individual that tim duncan was.....im sure you are aware of the type of stuff KG said to tim right?...its all good in the spirit of comp.....you may have to eat your words later though

floyd used to talk alot too...but at the end he had a genuine respect for the sport and the guys he competed against...i think teo has a real respect for loma...hes just doing what he needs to get himself up....some guys have different ways of getting there....would be boring if everyone were the same

Pretty clear Loma is going to use his excellent foot work to try and avoid Lopez's big shots early, tire him out and do what he does later in fights, frustrate and cruise to UD or stop him. The kid can punch and that gives him a legit shot but he is not going to win a decision, as if it goes that far Loma will have figured out how to avoid big shots with movement and counter.

The key to Lomachenko’s unbelievable style is his balance and footwork. The way he glides around the ring — creating angles to attack from and pirouetting away from his opponents’ counters — is incredible. It will be interesting to see how Lopez Sr. responds. He said there are multiples ways to beat Loma and due to his insight he has identified them, but that he can't reveal them. So, we'll see if he's full of **** or really is all that as a coach. I just don't see it. Nostradamus for looking ahead three fights? Anyone can do that with the most basic logic and perception and planning.

It will be interesting to observe what he really brings to the table, in the corner, in between rounds, especially if things go south.

'Show no respect. Remember what I taught you, show him no respect'.

If his son knocks out Loma it will all go to his head. Talk about arrogant, calling yourself Nostradamus.

If Teo loses, the excuses will fly because those two could never admit thier derangement.

Talking is not my issue, it is what is said when they talk that is. Some of the things Mike Tyson said were pretty crazy and in hindsight we can all see that in fact they were. Mike was not mentally stable and it showed. Some of the things the Lopez family say is just uncalled for. You can trash talk in the spirit of competition or you can just outright be disrespectful. I just find it hypocritical that Lopez and his father say these things then claim they are humble etc.
