    Pretty sure they just gave him the 'franchise' belt, which is like a nod to him not having lost his belt in the ring but they had to, for legal reasons give the real belt to Haney as Loma was supposed to fight him. I can't remember exactly, anyone?

                  I wish we as a boxing community and and fans would stop recognizing the WBO. Still to this day, I treat that title like it was treated during the 90s. It’s crazy that Herbie Hide historically now is a 2 time hw champ on a title that no one cared about at the time.
