Briggs has held this superiority complex for a long time. Someone should tell him that his career highlight is getting knocked out by Lennox Lewis, not winning the supposed linear heavyweight championship against a 137 year old Foreman. The interview says that he turned down Valuev and Lyakovich to fight Klitschko and that it wasn't a money thing. Yeah right. The Klitschko fight has more money in it than Valuev and Lyakhovich combined, plus Briggs probably thinks he can crack Klitschko easily. He's got a nasty shock coming to him if that fight happens.

look at their wins though, briggs hasnt beaten anyone good in how long? his entire career, his only good win was against 40 year old foreman and that was contrversial...

briggs should be happy he's even close to getting a title shot given his record and level of opposition..

sure you can. wlad has those 3 bad losses but he's also beaten many top 15 caliber guys. byrd...barret..peter..mcline..shulz,,botha, while briggs has beaten no one.

Anybody with Briggs power fighting Wlads chin has a chance........albeit with Briggs stamina a small one.

only problem there is briggs power has looked far from great when he's stepped up in competition. he's never been able to knockout a top 15 heavyweight. look at jeremy williams,,,his power looked great as well against class c and lower guys but he also failed every time he stepped up. to measure power you also have to look at the guys theyre knocking out. that said,,I still think briggs has power,,,but its overrated in my opinion

I have respect for you becuase you admit your dislike. unlike the few clowns on here like bozo and bloodshed that try to hide it and call everyone "nuthuggers" if they ever dare say something posititve about a certain fighter. nothing wrong with not liking a fighter and being open about it. I dont like rahman or toney. I think they talk too much trash,,,but I dont let it get in the way of my opinion on them as fighters and at least with toney he backs it up most of the time unlike the rock,,,or the pebble I should say
