Of course not, but a fight vs Yarde would certainly be intriguing. I haven't liked the way Buatsi has been moved thus far in his career. This was the perfect type of fight he needed so hopefully going forward he is kept busy and in with fighters that could test him. Still have solid hopes for him going forward.
If Hearn did say that then whatever he is smoking, he needs to put it down. Joshua even before this fight would have been destroyed by Bivol or Betervieb, I think Joe Smith beats him.

Yes Johnson or Yarde next, but I think he beats both to be honest. It’s not going to be easy but I think he gets through them two.

You would think his no head movement thing would have been worked on over the last 14 months when he hasn’t fought but nope. It’s keep his head straight on.

Oh yeah, he said he thought Buatsi was ready for Beterbiev about a year ago. Maybe even a little longer and shortly after the Johnson fight?

Buatsi has some similarities to Spence. The latter doesn't move his head all that much either but uses distance control and a high guard to get out trouble. Buatsi will be fine. Keep getting him the right types of fights and he will start improving. Time to move him along and give him the fights he needs. I don't want to buy the excuse that Hearn can't get any fighter to take a fight with him since he is too dangerous.

How is Kownacki stronger? Not only did he get blitzed by Helenius but he throws a million punches and still struggles to get the stoppage. Babic is seriously undersized but he KOd Winters in two rounds who went 5 with Parker who went the distance with AJ and almost KO'D White so I'd reserve judgement about Babic until he steps up against better competition. Having said that, he's taking on solid competition thus far given his inexperience as a pro.

Johnson knocked down the best in the division, Beterviev and an inexerienced Yarde almost stopped Kovalev so I wouldn't be to sure about that. Callic hit Buatsi a lot of times with the overhand right and did some damage even with 5 KOs in 12 wins. Buatsi has to watch keeping his left hand down and standing at range not moving his head or his feet. He gets hit with shots like that by Yarde or Johnson, he is going to sleep. I'm looking forward to a matchup like that down the road and I really like Buatsi but there's no guarantee he beats Yarde or Johnson at this moment.

Hearn said in an interview last week on a sky promo that he thinks buatsi is one of the best fighters in world boxing not prospect, fighter ..

Babic v Tom Little should be good to see where he’s at

People will look at Tom Little’s record and see he’s 10-9 but the guy has been getting in with people he had no business being in the ring with and still gets a few rounds out of them

He’s not good but a little better than his win/loss ratio suggests. At a certain level he knows his way around the ring a bit and probably good enough to get quite a few rounds out of Babic and maybe test him in some ways he hasn’t been tested yet, so I think it will be good measuring stick for Babic after so few fights.

I think Johnson is a very dangerous fight for him. I think Johnson is very underrated actually. Very dangerous and heavy-handed. I could see Callum Johnson getting some wins over decent fighters in his career if he’s active.

Johnson definitely isn’t going to trouble the top guys like Beterbiev, even though he did drop him. But I think in the tier below that, Johnson would be a handful for anyone, win or lose.

I’ve seen nothing in Buatsi that makes me that confident he’s a big favourite over Johnson.

Yeah, he's been throwing heavy praise at Buatsi for a while. And truthfully, I'm a fan of Buatsi's and expect big things from him. But let him progress and continue fighting better competition. There is no need to rush him to the elite level just yet.

I've already mentioned it a few times, but it's been a crime for how terribly Buatsi has been moved. He hasn't had the right types of fights and hasn't been active enough. Time to change all that now. By the end of 2021, he needs to be in title consideration.

Hearn keeps talking about putting him in with Sullivan Barrera to bridge him between his level now and world title shot.

I have no problem with him fighting Sullivan Barrera, But At this point I don’t think he is a fighter to go straight into a world title fight after fighting. In my opinion Buatsi needs about three or four fights at that level or a bit higher before thinking about looking at fighting any of the real top fighters like Bivol, if he even reaches that point.

There’s no point in rushing him into it. A good active year of really solid opponents would be much more beneficial to him.

I know Sky are looking for their next PPV fighters but without good solid learning fights, he’s going to get smashed up. I think they should just hold their horses for a year or so, quit the talk of him being a star now and just get him solid fights.
