We have two interesting little heavyweight fights next weekend

    Gorman - Lartey in England

    Makhmudov - Carman in Canada

Makhmudov should win easily. Gorman -Lartey can be more tricky, Lartey can punch.

But who will rise from the smoke and ash and challenge Fury?

These are the questions that demand answers.

Mahkmudov is a tough customer so is Gorman but he met a tougher customer DDD .

I’d love to see DDD vs Mahkmudov even if he loses to Joyce or vice versa .

Good to see Quebec finally lifted the boxing restriction. Makhmudov should blast out Carman pretty quickly. Carman got a lucky win over Kean but he doesn't have the best chin.

Every Makhmudov fight is must-see TV.

I remember Makh's team offered Wilder $20 million last year.

He obviously wants the big fights, it's just a matter of becoming mandatory.

Obviously that was a publicity stunt where Wilder couldn’t take the fight because he then held a belt which requires him to fight top 15 .

That being said I’d put money on Mahkmudov just because he is a true puncher and Wilder coming off a bad loss would not play in his favor against the huge unit and puncher unless proven otherwise .

Makhmudov is a true threat. Makhmudov - Hrgovic would be a great fight and big step up for both.
