(Shaking my head) man, there are going to be a lot of guys backtracking on here after AJ and Nandrolone Fury fight haha. Just like Wilder fans are now. But just like Wilder fans are saying now, you'll probably say that Nandrolone Fury was "always a domestic level guy" or he "had no power" or something. Just know that he is a steroid cheat, a con man, a fraud and a guy with only 2 good wins on his resume who has never defended a belt

Wilder is a great puncher but a poor boxer. He was regularly outboxed by mediocre fighters until the equaliser saved the day. Fury is a better boxer than AJ but it is not as vast as Deontay and he definitely won’t be on the front foot like he was against Wilder
I think it’s very comfortable for Fury
As long as Fury is at the top of his game which he is on big occasions, I think Joshua has a tailor-made style for him.
AJ moves and fights in predictable patterns because he hasn’t got great coordination. He cannot throw punches unless he is able to set his feet. Someone like Tyson Fury is not going to let you just set your feet and throw a combination. He will stop you doing that either fighting on the backfoot or by going forward with a pressure jab and that two step and double feint he does.
Joshua is an excellent fighter if you shell up and stand flat-footed with him. Once you give him some angles and movement and keep him from setting his feet, he poses no real threat of landing anything significant. He might be technically better than Wilder in some ways, more correct, but that’s only if he’s allowed to be in that position where he’s comfortable to throw his textbook punches.
Fury is too smart for that and will make AJ look basic and then stop him.Last edited by deathofaclown; 10-03-2020, 02:51 PM.

He couldn't even cleanly ko bums like Charles Martin, and Eric molina who clearly were only there for a quick pay day.

Listen Fury is a better boxer than AJ but he is not stopping AJ . AJ has better coordination and angles than you may think. He also has a better jab than Wilder. It won’t be as easy as you think but I can’t blame you for thinking the way you do Fury has more than proved himself in the ring so hopefully we just have to wait and see. I support AJ but you have never heard me say he will beat Fury but I’m confident it will be a competitive fight

Wait a minute. So Khan, who was a world champion and boxed most of his life shouldnt talk about boxing, but you should?Last edited by boxinggod101; 10-03-2020, 03:13 PM.

I never understood this way of thinking for fight predictions.
I think Fury beats Joshua too, but it has to do with a lot more than just how Fury looked in one night versus one guy.
You can’t just say if “Fighter A goes into a fight with Fighter B looking like he did vs Fighter C, he will beat Fighter B easily.”
Or the good ol:
“If he fought the version of this fighter who beat that fighter...he wouldn’t have stood a chance!”
Boxing does not work that way at all and it’s disappointing to see that from a professional boxer who does it for a living and has extensive experience in the sport.
Would Terence Crawford have beaten the “version“ of Amir Khan that showed to fight Maidana? Or maybe the version that fought Prescott would have shown up? Or how about the Khan fought DSG? Or the Khan that fought Malignaggi maybe?
A fighter will look different based on who he fights. Can’t just mix and match. “If Hearns fought the version of Duran that beat SRL, he would have lost”...No, no he wouldn’t have. Styles make fights.

Ortiz is supposed to be a puncher Yet he has two common opponents with fury and stopped neither, where as Fury stopped both.
The biggest mistake Joshua could make and this fight is thinking Fury cannot stop him, because he can.
